When I first started macro photography, specially butterfly photography, Common Jezebel butterfly was one of those butterflies I longed to click. It's yellow, reddish orange and black striped wings always fascinated me. No doubt it is one of the most beautiful butterflies found in West Bengal. But I had never been able to take a shot of this beautiful creature as it never sat on a flower patiently. Once I spent almost an hour standing amidst of chest length bush to get a shot bt in vain. I almost left the hope of clicking it's picture when one noon while gardening on the roof my mother spotted it and called me. I immediately went up and found it gleefully prancing around the flowering plants on the roof. This time I was determined and after 7-8 attempts I was successful in capturing it's picture and was highly satisfied.

One shot by my mother. Well, she's not so happy with my clicking pictures, but with this shot I can surely tell that she somewhere in mind approves photography!!! LOL :-)
